Martinez lab

The Martinez lab focuses on understanding how the information contained in the form of RNA is important during processes like reproduction and stress. Particularly, we are focused in understanding the RNA silencing (RNAi) and epigenetic mechanisms and how dynamic they are in regulating stress and reproduction.

We are located in the Plant Biology department of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences located in Uppsala (Sweden).

We are always interested in incorporating new people to our group (specially with their own financial support via EMBO or Marie Curie postdoctoral programs). Researchers with unconventional ideas are specially welcome. Feel free to contact us if you find our research interesting or just want to share any idea or comment 🙂

Research in our lab is funded by SLU, VR and the Carl Tryggers Foundation.
